Tom Nguyen is the Managing Partner at Key Partners LLC. Tom heads up the acquisitions and dispositions of both land development and income property for the Company. He is not only responsible for procuring opportunities for the Company to acquire but also to maintain a strong pipeline of projects for the Company to deploy its capital. As a licensed Attorney and Broker, Tom also serves as the General Counsel for the Company and leads negotiations, underwriting and due diligence for all projects and joint venture deals.
Tom Nguyen has been involved in the acquisitions, dispositions, and the development of commercial real estate for over 23 years. As a commercial real estate broker, he has represented institutions, family offices, and high net worth clients in every product type from multifamily and retail to industrial and and land development. He has closed over 1 billion in commercial real estate transactions in sales, leasing, and joint ventures and remains among the top commercial real estate brokers in the industry.
Tom started his career as a real estate attorney specializing in commercial real estate transactions, but eventually transitioned over to become a full time commercial real estate broker. He spent 12 years at NAI Capital as an Executive Vice President and founder of its Pacific Rim Division where he was routinely among the top producing brokers in the firm. Tom then joined Steve Hopkins as managing director at Hopkins Real Estate, a value added development firm involved in the repositioning of commercial real estate assets.
Over the years, Tom has built strong relationships with institutions, investors, developers and brokers that will allow Key Partners to secure deals and opportunities often unseen by other buyers. As an principal real estate investor, attorney, and broker Tom can add value to any real estate scenario that the Company is looking to acquire.
Tom grew up in Orange County and has a degree in Business Economics from UCLA and Law Degree from CWSOL in San Diego on a trustee’s scholarship. Aside from commercial real estate, Tom enjoys Tennis, Golf and Travel.
